This is a rare advertising herald (flyer) promoting the return of BARBARA DICKSON, starring in the West End revival of the WILLY RUSSELL musical "BLOOD BROTHERS" at the Phoenix Theatre in London. (The Original West End production opened April 11th, 1983 at London's Lyric Theatre and ran for 224 performances. This highly successful revival opened July 28th, 1988 at London's Albery Theatre, moved to the Phoenix Theatre in December 1991 and ran for over 24 years, closing October 27th, 2012.) ..... The musical starred BARBARA DICKSON as "Mrs. Johnstone", the role she originated in 1983 and featured STEPHEN DONALD, PETER TREGANNA, CARL WAYNE, DAVID HITCHEN, KATE DYSON, STEVE EDWIN, EMMA TATE, PETER WATTS, REBECCA LAMB, DAVID BINGHAM, JOAN ARMSTRONG, MARTIN O'BRIEN and EMMA COLLIER ..... CONDITION: This rare flyer is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian.
