    This is a rare ticket envelope and loose ticket stub from the April 18th, 1962 matinee performance of the Original Broadway production of the TENNESSEE WILLIAMS play "THE NIGHT OF THE IGUANA" at the Royale Theatre in New York City. (The production opened December 28th, 1961 and ran for 316 performances.) ..... The play starred BETTE DAVIS and MARGARET LEIGHTON (winner of the Tony Award for "Best Actress in a Play") and featured ALAN WEBB, JAMES FARENTINO, CHRISTOPHER JONES, PATRICK O'NEAL, THESEUS GEORGE, HEINZ HOHENWALD, LUCY LANDAU, BRUCE GLOVER, LARYSSA LAURET, PATRICIA ROE, LANE BRADBURY and LOUIS GUSS ..... The April 18th, 1962 ticket stub measures approx. 1 1/2" X 1 1/4" inches ..... CONDITION: With the exception of a small hole where a staple was removed and light edge wear to the envelope, this rare set is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
