    This is a rare August 16th, 1965 playbill (and separate flyer) from the one-week, Summer Stock engagement of the EDWARD ALBEE classic "WHO'S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF?" at the Tappan Zee Playhouse in Nyack, New York. (The Original Broadway production opened October 13th, 1962 at the Billy Rose Theatre in New York City and ran for 664 performances.) ..... Winner of five Tony Awards including "Best Play", the production starred SHELLEY WINTERS and featured HENDERSON FORSYTHE, LAURI PETERS and WILLIAM JORDAN ..... CREDITS: Book by EDWARD ALBEE; Sets designed by LARRY HANNAN MILLS; Directed by MILTON KATSELAS; Produced by BRUCE BECKER ..... DETAILS: The twenty page playbill measures 6" X 9" inches and includes full production credits, cast list, synopsis of scenes and bios of each of the actors, but no cast photos. CONDITION: With the exception of the year written in pencil in the top right corner of the cover of the playbill and the flyer and light soiling to the flyer, this set is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any theatre aficionado or historian. These items will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
