This is a rare April 7th, 1946 "Stagebill" playbill from the out-of-town tryout of the PATSY RUTH MILLER comedy "WINDY HILL" at the Harris Theatre in Chicago, Illinois. (The production opened September 20th, 1945 at the Shubert Theatre in New Haven, Connecticut and closed May 25th, 1946 at the Harris Theatre in Chicago, cancelling the scheduled Broadway opening.) ..... The play starred KAY FRANCIS and featured ROGER PRYOR, EILEEN HECKART, DONALD McCLELLAND, LAWRENCE FLETCHER, RUTH CONLEY, EULABELLE MOORE, GRANT GORDON, EARLE MAYO and JAMES HAGAN ..... CREDITS: Book by PATSY RUTH MILLER; Sets designed by EDWARD GILBERT; Produced and Directed by RUTH CHATTERTON .....
