    Description

Rare souvenir program published in 1974 for the Sexual Musical, "LET MY PEOPLE COME".   It opened in the Village Gate Theatre in New York in January of 1974 (ran for over 1300 performances) and also had long runs in Philadelphia, Toronto, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New Orleans, Washington, D.C., Boston, Seattle and Chicago, Madrid, London, Paris, Melbourne and Sydney.
Music & Lyrics by Earl Wilson, Jr.
Produced & Directed by Phil Oesterman
    Choreographed by IAN NAYLOR
See Pic # 8 for the list of cast members.
One reviewer summarized the show well by stating that "it broke all barriers - simulated sex, orgies, Lesbianism, Homosexuality, simulated oral sex and Bisexuality, all celebrated, all hilariously carefree."  Earl Wilson, Jr, on the other hand was a little more subtle stating "It is a musical revue about Sex, ... with some nudity and a lot of X-rated language."
The program measures 13" X 10" and consists of 20 pages which include photographs from the performance and lyrics of the songs corresponding to the scenes.  The full production team is listed (credits) and there are bios of Wilson, Oestermeyer, and Naylor, as well as the cast.
Pics 9 - 12 capture the condition issues: Wear and tear on the edges and a folded corner affecting all the pages. Also, the paper is slightly discolored throughout and the center-fold page is loose (came off the staples which have rusted).
    Will mail with an
acid-free envelope for long-term preservation and from further damage on the trip to the buyer.
