    This is a rare February 5th, 1968 "Playgoer" playbill from the Pre-Broadway tryout of the FRANK D. GILROY play "THE ONLY GAME IN TOWN" at the Shubert Theatre in New Haven, Connecticut. (The production opened January 16th, 1968 at the Morris Mechanic Theatre in Baltimore and would close for revisions February 24th, 1968 at the Colonial Theatre in Boston. The play would eventually open with an entirely new cast on May 23rd, 1968 at New York's Broadhurst Theatre and close after only 16 performances.) ..... The play starred RICHARD MULLIGAN, CAROLAN DANIELS and ALBERT PAULSEN. All three would be replaced by BARRY NELSON, TAMMY GRIMES and LEO GENN before the Broadway opening .....
