    This is a rare glossy 8" X 10" inch press photograph of ZERO MOSTEL as "Pseudolus" in the Original Broadway production of the
    BURT SHEVELOVE, LARRY GELBART and STEPHEN SONDHEIM musical comedy "A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM" at the Alvin Theatre in New York City. (The production opened May 8th, 1962 and ran for 966 performances.) ..... The musical starred ZERO MOSTEL (winner of the Tony Award for "Best Actor in a Musical") and featured JACK GILFORD, DAVID BURNS, RUTH KOBART, BRIAN DAVIES, PRESHY MARKER, RONALD HOLGATE, EDDIE PHILLIPS, GEORGE REEDER, DAVID EVANS, JOHN CARRADINE and RAYMOND WALBURN ..... Side Note: "A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM" would win six 1963 Tony Awards including "Best Musical". In one of the most glaring omissions in Tony Awards history, STEPHEN SONDHEIM was not even nominated in the category of "Best Composer and Lyricist" .....
